Russian attacks across Ukraine have killed at least six civilians, according to the Associated Press. In Kyiv, a Russian strike damaged the Northern Bridge over the Dnipro River on Saturday, October 3, disrupting traffic and damaging the road surface and overhead trolleybus power lines. No casualties were reported from the bridge strike itself.
The attack followed strikes on other bridges in the capital, raising concerns about transport disruption and access between the eastern and western parts of the city.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Moscow of expanding attacks on civilian infrastructure, including roads, schools and hospitals. Russia says its strikes are retaliatory and claims the bridges support Ukrainian military logistics.
The conflict continues, with civilians and critical infrastructure increasingly affected by the fighting.
